The two largest technical goals that must be achieved in order for a liquid methane aircraft to operate around the globe is the efficient storage of liquid methane on board an aircraft, as well as the respective infrastructure required for refuelling at airports. RMIT University has undertaken preliminary study to explore the options that surround this immense industry in regards to a full scale transfer of fuel sources.
